Leaves
There are a lot of different leaves in our yard, after all we are in the woods. Being extremely dumb, it took me a while to realize the ones I was drawing were coming from the same tree. Then I noticed what looked like hard tennis balls lying around the yard. I searched the inter web to see if I could identify what kind of tree it was. I discovered it’s a black walnut tree.. The walnuts are inside the tennis ball looking fruit. I feel a little smarter this morning.
Bugs
i’ve always had a very good relationship with bugs. They don’t ever seem to bite or flock to me. I have a certain immunity from their stings and arrows. Plus they don’t particularly creep me out, no matter how many legs they have, or how large, or hairy they Amy be. We’re very symbiotic. I’ve made a lot of new crawly friends now that I’m Mr. Countryboy.
