There it was, my first bald eagle sighting in New York State. Yun and I were standing on top of a hill and suddenly one made a bank turn and hovered over us for a second. I guess it was a sign of some sort.

My wife and I are staying in Woodstock for a month. One afternoon a huge black bear wandered into our backyard from the woods. It was quite eye popping to see. Our bear loped right past where I usually sit and draw. Now I draw a little closer to the house.
